There’s some crazy stuff happening at YouTube and Google right now, clearly.  Their streaming platforms are going through some api changes and therefore of course…we start to as well!

There is good news and bad news to that.  Let’s start with the good.  The good news is that we get to change and morph our system to being the best it can possibly be for live streaming and we are in the process of doing that RIGHT NOW!

The bad news…well we had to switch how we were streaming with YouTube/Google Hangouts to match the new api, which we’ve already done and is now available to download or update in the WordPress site you added EasyWebinar to.  It is called version 4.3.2.  However, because our goal is to make things better and better for you, we will be periodically announcing new updates which will require you to update the existing plugin you have.

I know that can be a pain…but I promise…the final version will be worth it for you.  Also for those who download this version, yes your live webinars will work!

So that will be the last thing you need to worry about.  However, we are going to be streamlining it to make the experience better and better with the days/weeks to come.

In fact…(Big Reveal)

The goal in the next 6-8 weeks is to reveal a completely brand new YouTube Live/Google Hangout interface along with our hosted fully saas app of EasyWebinar that is currently being worked on right now.  For Existing 4.0+ EasyWebinar customers, there will be no additional fee to getting on board that program! 🙂
